Life Links is

What I love about my church... 

 This is the best church!! I never got to do things before, but here, I can do anything. Everybody is so encouraging.

 I remember vividly the first time I came to this church and how friendly and welcoming they were. I met John and Janice, who introduced themselves and invited me to sit with them. The Pastor and his wife invited me to lunch and soon discovered my love of singing. They invited me to join the worship team and I gladly accepted. I have learned so much from this church and the people here, and I know that I have definitely grown spiritually.

 My church is like my other home. I have my own family, and I also have my church ‘family’! My church family always make me feel welcome and I share very happy times with them. We like to sing together, learn about God’s love and have coffee or tea (or milkshakes) or sometimes a meal together. I always feel happy when I'm with my church family.

 We've been in Life Links church for a long time. It's a loving and caring family oriented church, with all ages ranging from babies to 80+. Everyone is encouraged to take part. We really enjoy being here.

 There is a special feeling of homeliness and warmth in our church with a special place for everybody. From joining in with our 'Big Band', singers and varied worship leaders to the lovely discussions at our weekly 'book club' as we;; as well as the opportunity and privilege to serve in our Emergency Relief and Community PopUp Cafe! Yes. just some of the reasons I ;ove this church.

 I love my church, because it is like a big extended family to love, support and be there for each other. It's a wonderful environment to be closer to God. They also serve great coffee!

We believe..

We believe.. image
...that Jesus is Lord, and therefore He is central to everything we do and are!  Jesus is GOOD! His whole life is a gift of kindness, grace, forgiveness, hope and joy.  His love changes us from the inside out, and inspires and challenges us to be better people.  We treasure the story of Jesus.  We study his teachings, model from his life and attitudes and follow his ways.  We want to be like him! 
Our world is filled with so much confusion, brokenness, self centredness, aggression, violence, distorted 'truth' and destruction.  We believe that Jesus and his way is the only true answer to what troubles our world.  So we encourage people to explore Jesus, know him, find forgiveness in him and follow his way. 
We believe that, in the Spirit of Jesus our church exists to make the world a kinder, better, more compassionate place.  So, we volunteer to alleviate poverty, support local families, and work alongside young people.  We value every individual and love it when people find their voice and step forward to life.  We celebrate achievements, growth in character and the difference people make when they commit to living for the sake of others.  We don’t wait for people to try to pick up that they matter.  We say it! We want everyone to know that they have gifts and qualities, and to use them to bring kindness, grace, forgiveness hope and joy to others.  If this is you, you’re welcome to come join us in making our community a better place!

Our Team

Pastor Dave Tolputt

Team Leader

Dave has been involved in Christian Ministry Leadership for nearly 40 years. His experience includes youth work, church leadership, CEO of Scripture Union Australia and Victoria, school chaplaincy coordinator and practicioner. Dave also has extensive experience in social and community services management.

Pastor Peter Fleming

Pastoral Associate

Peter has held a variety of church leadership positions over many years. His wisdom and good humour are very much appreciated at Life Links. He is married to Heather and is a dad and very proud grand dad.

Bruce Bartlett

Elder

Bruce has been a follower of Jesus ever since he was a child. He is a mechanical engineer by trade and runs a small family business that makes amazing farm equipment. He is married to Kara, and they have 4 growing up children.

Mike Peter

Elder

Michael is married to Martie, and they have two young adult children. Together they own and operate 2 Specsavers franchises. Mike is a qualified Optician.

Noelle Forth

Emergency Relief Manager

Noelle is a gun! With years of experience in social and community work, Noelle leads the Emergency Relief team at Life Links.
